Join ISPWest and SETI@home in the search for Extraterrestrial intelligence. SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data.

The SETI@home program is a special kind of screensaver. Like other screensavers it starts up when you leave your computer unattended, and it shuts down as soon as you return to work. What it does in the interim is unique. While you are getting coffee, or having lunch or sleeping, your computer will be helping the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence by analyzing data specially captured by the world's largest radio telescope.

STEP 1
First thing youŽll need to do is download the software.  Here are the current client versions.

DOWNLOADS Special Release Version 3.07 for Windows is available. For more information about the changes in version 3.07, click here. Download Version 3.07 of SETI@home for  Windows  (95/98/2000/NT/ME/XP). Download Version 3.03 of SETI@home for Macintosh. Download a command-line version for UNIX, WinNT, OS/2, BeOS, Mac OS X Server, OpenVMS, etc.. Download a GUI version for Mac OS X.

STEP 2
Secondly, after you have installed the screen saver, join our team, so our CPU usage and credits, can be combined with yours to join forces in this venture. To join our team, head to the URL of:
